Tree Plantation 2018

Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Fine Arts in association with Bharati Vidyapeeth Police Station, Sarhad School, Gujarwadi and Sawitribai Phule Pune University organised a Tree Plantation Program. Mr. Vishnu Pawar. Sr. PI of Bharati Vidyapeeth Police Station, Mr. Baba mama Shinde, Mr. Shailesh Wadkar, Anupama Patil, Principal Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Fine Arts, staff and 70 students were present for the event. Students planted 100 plants in Gujarwadi. Students and staff response was enthusiastic. Astt. Prof. Manaswini Kankal was in-charge of the event.

This event and such programs help to inculcate sense of social responsibility in students to nurture them to a better human being and a responsible citizen. It also helped to make them understand the gravity of serious issues like Global warming and pollution and importance of planting tress and their responsibility towards such issues as a future citizen of the country.
