Lecture cum demonstration by Roshan Datye

On account of adding qualitative information to our academic subjects a lecture cum demonstration was held exclusively for MFA, Painting and Sculpture students.

Bharati Vidyapeeth’s College Of Fine Arts organized a demonstration (Live performance) cum lecture (Slide show) by Smt. Roshantai Datye, Kathak Dancer, Choreographer, Art Historian, Guru on Arts India- the relation between space in Mandir Architecture and in Kathak Nritya, which explains relationship among various Arts such as Indian Dance & Drama, Ancient Sculptures on Temples/Caves, its Architecture, Miniature Paintings, Literature with reference to Archeological sites of Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Gujrat, Madhya Pradesh & Maharashtra.

As students of MFA and Sculpture have Aesthetics and Iconography as their academic subjects, this lecture added valuable knowledge to their studies.

The whole program was co-ordinated by Asst. Prof. Pallavi Meshram.
